We opened Brushy Mountain Cafe in August, 2010 to serve the community of Millers Creek and northwestern Wilkes County. Our location is well known site that operated for many years since the mid-1960's as the Ponderosa restaurant. In downtown Millers Creek on Highway 16 North, Brushy Mountain Cafe features many Smokehouse favorites including Pulled Pork Barbecue, Handcrafted Ice Cream, and our hand-battered, all white meat Chicken Bites.

Starting at 6:00 am, Monday through Saturday, Brushy Mountain Cafe serves Breakfast featuring Buttermilk Bisciuts, Pancakes, Fried Apple Pies, Bacon, Sausage, Country Ham, Gravy and Eggs cooked to order. Daily Breakfast and Lunch specials feature great deals and a variety of lunch entrees folks have come to identify with the Smokehouse. Stew Beef, Country Style Steak, Chicken and Dumplings and lots of good vegetables are available at lunch and dinner on Thursday and Friday evenings, when the Cafe is open until 9:00 pm. Full service Catering is also available at Brushy Mountain Cafe.
